The ritual

Morning and night

At first light, the chilled steel meets skin still soft with sleep. The cold draws out the puffiness, and the face wakes slowly. After dark, the gua sha follows the jaw in unhurried passes, releasing what the day held in the muscle. Two moments, bookending the hours between.

The ritual
  • Holds the cold

Solid stainless stays cold far longer than plastic or quartz. The chill carries through the full ritual, not just the first stroke.

  • Non-porous

A sealed, seamless surface that nothing soaks into. Rinse, dry, and it is ready again.

  • Kept for years

One weighted tool, machined to last. Nothing to wear out, nothing to replace. An object you keep, not one you throw away.

About NÓRR

From the north

Cold has long been a Northern practice, a way to wake the body and steady the mind. NÓRR draws on that lineage, translated into two tools of solid steel. We make one thing, considered slowly and built to be kept. No seasons, no disposals. An object you reach for each day and pass on in time.
